Ryan Wong
President & Co-Founder
Born and raised in Goleta, Ryan Wong is not just the President and co-founder of Tidy Seas—he’s out in the field, getting his hands dirty alongside volunteers. By day, he works in the motorsports industry, but in his free time, you’ll find him removing abandoned lobster traps, organizing cleanups, and tackling marine debris head-on. His deep love for the ocean, desert, and fishing fuels his passion for conservation, making him a driving force behind Tidy Seas. Ryan leads by example, proving that real change starts with action, and his commitment continues to inspire volunteers to protect our coastlines.

Randy Hughes
Vice President & Co-Founder
Randy Hughes is the Vice President and co-founder of Tidy Seas, as well as a commercial fisherman with a deep connection to the ocean. A Goleta native, Randy has spent his life on the water, fostering a passion for marine conservation and sustainability. When he’s not fishing, he plays a key role in island cleanups, recovering lost lobster traps, and protecting our coastal ecosystems. His firsthand experience on the ocean gives him a unique perspective on the importance of preserving marine habitats, making him an essential force in Tidy Seas’ mission to keep beaches and oceans clean.

Micaela Oleson
Treasurer & Event Coordinator
Micaela Oleson is the Treasurer and Event Coordinator of Tidy Seas, combining her organizational expertise with a deep passion for environmental conservation. A Ventura native, she has always felt at home between the ocean and mountains, fueling her dedication to preserving the beauty of our coastlines. Micaela plays a key role in planning impactful cleanups, managing finances, and ensuring the success of Tidy Seas' community initiatives. Her commitment to sustainability and ability to bring people together make her an essential part of the organization’s mission to protect and restore our natural spaces.

Kim George
Secretary & Partner Relations Coordinator
Kim George is the Secretary and Partner Relations Coordinator of Tidy Seas, dedicated to strengthening community connections and expanding support for environmental conservation. A Goleta native, Kim has a deep appreciation for the coastal environment and plays a key role in cultivating and maintaining partnerships that help drive Tidy Seas' mission forward. She oversees communications, coordinates with sponsors and collaborators, and ensures seamless engagement with key stakeholders. Her passion for sustainability, organizational expertise, and ability to foster meaningful relationships make her an invaluable force in protecting our beaches and oceans.
